Successful on the outside. Depleted on the inside.
I know, because I lived it, dismantled it, and now guide women out of pressure-driven success without losing what they’ve built.
My Story
At 29, I became a widow with a one-year-old son and an income of $28000. My husband, Doug, died of brain cancer, and overnight, my world collapsed into a single question:
Can I survive this?
Could I keep my home? Raise my son alone? Hold it all together?
I didn't have answers. But I knew how to push. And push I did. Within five years, I'd earned a master's degree, bought a 3,400-square-foot home, and quadrupled my income. A decade later, I'd paid off that house, tripled my income again, and rose into executive leadership, managing teams of 500+.
From the outside, I looked incredibly successful. Inside, I was falling apart. Exhaustion, stress, gut issues, and a nervous system stuck in overdrive became my reality.
I wasn't doing life wrong. I was just doing it in a way that was wrong for me. I'd built my success on a foundation of self-sacrifice. No amount of mindset work, productivity hacks, or "self-care Sundays" could fix a success model designed to deplete me.
High functioning, no matter how impressive it looks, is not the same as thriving.
The Turning Point
In 2015, I finally stopped long enough to look up. The problem wasn't my ambition. It was the pressure-based way I was succeeding: constant pushing, over-functioning, and believing rest came last.
So I did something radical:
I started listening. To my body. To my energy. To my internal compass.
I rebuilt how I worked, how I decided, how I led, and how I rested. I learned to say no without guilt, stopped people pleasing, and led with calm authority instead of silent panic. Nothing external changed. Everything internal did.
I still achieved. I just didn't collapse doing it.

Leading from Wholeness
I've been doing this work my whole life. I just didn't know I was building toward it until I had to rebuild my own life after it shattered. I then recognized the same fractured pattern in hundreds of other high-achieving women. I saw it everywhere: brilliant, capable, ambitious women running themselves into the ground because they were operating from an outdated success model built on pressure, performance, and self-sacrifice.
I took everything I'd studied— psychology, nervous system regulation, leadership development, embodiment practices, yogic principles, rituals, decades of teaching experience— and fused it with what I learned from my own transformation.
The result is The VIBE Code, a framework that helps women redesign how they structure their days, protect their energy, and lead from wholeness instead of pressure.
This work is not about doing less. It's about a completely new operating system for how you work, decide, and carry responsibility. Strategy meets somatics. Leadership meets lived experience. Head meets heart meets body.
Because sustainable success requires all of it.
I've walked both sides of this transformation...and I also know the way out.
